ALDIP Board Positions
President
The ALDIP President is the chief volunteer officer of ALDIP. The President leads the Board in performing its duties and responsibilities, including, if present, presiding at all meetings of the Directors, and performs other duties incident to the office or required by the Board.
Vice President
The ALDIP Vice President is vested with all the powers and shall perform all the duties of the President during the absence of the President. The Vice President further performs other duties incident to the office or required by the President.
Treasurer
The ALDIP Treasurer is the lead officer for oversight of the financial condition and affairs of ALDIP and performs fiscal duties required by the Board or the President. The Treasurer oversees and keeps the Board of Directors informed of the financial condition of ALDIP and of audit or financial review results. The Treasurer oversees budget preparation and ensures that appropriate financial reports, including an account of major transactions and the financial condition of the corporation, are reported at each board meeting and as may be requested by the Board.
Secretary
The ALDIP Secretary keeps a book of minutes of all meetings and actions of Officers and committees. The minutes of each meeting state all information necessary to determine the actions taken and whether the meeting was held in accordance with the law and ALDIP Bylaws. The Secretary also ensures that notice is given of all meetings of officers and committees as required by the Bylaws or by the President.
